Bar Association Announces Lee Cockerell as Keynote Speaker
for 2012 Annual Dinner
Former Walt Disney World® Executive To Discuss Leadership

(ALLENTOWN, PA) The Bar Association of Lehigh County has announced that Lee Cockerell, former Executive Vice President of Operations for the Walt Disney World® Resort will speak at the 2012 Annual Dinner. The event will be held Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Barristers Club, Allentown, Pennsylvania.  Lee’s address to the attendees will be “Lessons in Leadership, Management and Service Excellence.”  His address will deal with providing leadership in your company and the differences between management and leadership.

Lee Cockerell retired as the executive vice president of operations for the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL, a position he held for ten years.  His responsibilities encompassed a diverse mix of operations, which included 20 resort hotels with over 29,000 guest rooms, four theme parks, three water parks, five golf courses, a shopping village and nighttime entertainment complex, a sports and recreation complex, and the ancillary operations support functions. The resort serves millions of guests each year and employs 58,000 cast members.

Lee is now dedicating his time to public speaking. He authored Creating Magic - 10 Common Sense Leadership Strategies From A Life At Disney, a book on leadership, management and service excellence which was published in 2008 and is now available in 10 languages. Lee also performs leadership and service excellence consulting for organizations as well as the Disney Institute.
